Why Schools Love our Shows
What better way to inspire and motivate your students by having a stand up performance in their own school as an English lesson!
Stand Up Comedy has lower costs to run and is more entertaining than any other speaking presentation. Plus it has a growing popularity right now, and that is down to the growing number of school-going fans of comedians on stage, online and TV.
The format is simple, one 50 – 60 min performance with a game show type improvisation where I bring students on to stage and all students participate in some way.
As a part of the English curriculum in many schools, English teachers organise contact with natural English speakers. Stand Up Comedy offers an engaging and fun alternative to usual.

About David Talks
I am an Irish Stand Up Comedian living Antwerp who performs all over BENELUX. After years of street performing and improvising, I started stand up comedy in 2010.
Not only a regular in the Belgian comedy scene I also play in Luxembourg, Holland, Germany, UK and of course Ireland.
I tour Secondary Schools with my one man show “Expatie” and I also offer Improvisation Workshops to groups and Schools.
The idea of performing in Schools was suggested to me by a Flemish School teacher after I was complaining to him about the lack of opportunity for English speaking acts in Flanders. Since then I have happily performed to thousands of students and have had very good reactions from Teachers & Students in Belgium & The Netherlands, and long may it continue.
